Non Shaw was an herbalist, counselor, body worker, and teacher renowned for her unique method of thinking and her creative presentations. She wrote books on herbal medicine, herbal remedies, and Bach Flower Remedies and contributed to many encyclopedias. She also designed and taught many courses for herbalists.
